Meet Sawyer!
Sawyer is a handsome, 3-year-old neutered male who’s ready for a fresh start and a forever home filled with love. This sweet boy came to us after a vet reached out for help—his owner left for college, and sadly, Sawyer was being kept isolated in a room. Despite his tough beginning, Sawyer has shown nothing but heart and potential.
He was a little reserved at first, but it didn’t take long for him to warm up—he quickly bonded with his foster and has proven to be a loyal and affectionate companion. Sawyer absolutely lives for tennis ball fetch and will happily play for as long as you’re willing to toss!
Because he’s so passionate about his ball, he would do best as the only dog in the home—or with a canine buddy who isn’t interested in fetch. He’s done well with other dogs at daycare and has even made two best friends, Wiley and Tippy! He’s also good with cats and people of all ages.
Sawyer is a good-looking guy with a big heart (and a few extra pounds he’s working on shedding). He thrives on attention and would love a home where he can bask in all the love. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate best friend, Sawyer might be your perfect match.
Sawyer was relinquished to a local vet and is being fostered in Plymouth, IN
*** The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.
