Zeeva

Happy Tail Update!!! About a year after we got Zeeva, we adopted her best buddy, and adopted sister, Dixie. They are inseparable and have had many adventures together. They have a ton of toys, Dixie prefers to lay on them and Zeeva loves to shake, tug, and chase the toys. She still loves squeakers and loves to be very vocal, when playing. Zeeva has been a blessing in our lives and she brings us joy every day! Have a good one, Brandon and Jeanette Reece

Zoey**

Happy Tails Update!!! Here is Lizzy (AKA Zoey) adopted last October. She got to go to Camp Gone to the Dogs in Vermont in early June. She had a great time and got to try every dog sport imaginable. Agility, Barn Hunt, Lure Coursing, Herding, Disc,...she tried them all 🙂 Thank you for connecting us with Lizzy. She is exceptionally smart and we are having tons of fun together!! Thanks for sharing Nancy

Zepp

Zepp (shown in front) joined his new family, Susan and Chip and new big brother Laddie on Saturday 12/12 (really, Zepp and Laddie are so much alike, not just in looks but in personality and passion for tennis balls, that they could be different models of the same dog!). Zepp will be doing obedience, agility, and treibball plus lots of play at home!

Zoso

We adopted our Zoso as Woody. He was originally relinquished on his first birthday for herding his owners children. Really we think he was relinquished because he had too much energy, and a tendency toward submissive urination. We introduced him to our other BC, Bond, and they have been inseparable ever since. Bond has really helped him be comfortable in new situations. My husband is a veterinarian and I run our practice. The dogs go with us to work everyday. When we first brought Zoso in the stress of the clinic got to him and he would urinate all over the office. Eventually we got him a thunder shirt to wear at work and that stopped. Between his shirt and lots of exercise he has really become an excellent dog. He learns things very quickly. He even helps me while I'm in the kitchen. He has learned to close the pantry door and open and close the fridge for me when my hands are full. He is the sweetest dog and always knows when someone wants a cuddle. He lives to be by my side. He keeps our kitties in line and herds them to wherever he feels they need to go, and they love him. He makes Bond's face light up whenever he is around. Bond really loves his little buddy.

Zelda

We are fine! She made it through the horribly frozen winter last year and the terribly hot summer (had to take her to groomer quite a bit this summer to keep her fur trimmed short). December 28th or 29th will mark 1 year--hard to believe. She has turned out to be a good dog for me--but still some "quirks"--like constantly eating the cat poop and her own poop (I scrape and scoop all the time, but sometimes she still beats me to it). She still hassles the smaller cat. She still sometimes goes 16 hours without going to the bathroom--just because she can. She is still a velcro dog and still terrified of sounds and storms. She is still clumsy and falls up and down the stairs (just a little misstep--not all the way down!) and bumps and bangs into things all the time--but she is loving and soft and funny and everyone that sees her just loves her to pieces.
